Giovanni Bellini

Bellini developed within a Venetian family workshop, shaped by his father Jacopo and his brother-in-law Mantegna. He worked throughout his career in Venice, where Dürer praised him as its best painter. Late secular subjects included The Feast of the Gods, later altered by Titian.
