Katsushika Ōi
ca. 1800–after 1857
Katsushika Oi was Hokusai's third daughter and studied with him. She collaborated with her father at a time when professional women painters were unusual in Japan. Her subjects included popular literature such as the Chinese Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
